Dear Event Planner:
Listed below are some of my most popular topics. All can be used as a keynote address; all but the Christmas talk can be adapted to fit events that require between 2 and 4 presentations.
None of these talks is etched in stone. Because God is always doing His refining work in me, I am constantly revising my material. I have purposely left the topics vague so you can suggest a focus that suits your needs.
I am always biblical but I can’t help being funny -- it’s the way He made me so if humor isn’t part of your plan, I won’t be offended if you look elsewhere. I try to be sensitive to the Spirit’s leading and I greatly appreciate a worship leader who will share that responsibility.
TOPICS:
FOLLOWING GOD ONE YES AT A TIME
Based on the book of the same title, Connie shares the simplest, yet most profound secret, to walking with God.
At this event you will hear:
• God has a dream for your life that sometimes looks impossible
• the best way to follow God is one simple, immediate, possible yes at a time
• God sends proofs to reassure us we’re on the right track
• the biggest barriers to following God are inside our own skin
HANG ON TO HOPE
Based on her first book From Faking it to Finding Grace, Connie shares what she learned as God brought her out of a 10-year season of spiritual dryness.
At this event you will hear:
• What causes people to shy away from God and drift into dryness
• God never stops pursuing us and calling us back
• God wants to involve you in His work no matter where He finds you
• The way “back” to God is “forward” in faith
